December 31, 2019
Today is the last day of 2019! I can hardly believe how fast the year went for me. I have accomplished so many of the goals I had set for myself. I feel inspired to do even more. But along my journey I have really paid close attention to each moment as it was unfolding. Some of those moments were difficult, like the loss of my cousin. Some were challenging, like getting a new online college course up and running successfully when I am already challenged by technology. But I dare say, and gratefully so, most of my moment in 2019 were happy, joyful, and full of love and goodness. There is something in every moment to either help us or heal us. Take the time to be with each moment- not regretting the past or worrying about that which hasn’t happened yet. It is in the Present that we find our feet. Ground yourself into the moment, learn all you can, and I promise you will be able to reach farther and go deeper than you thought possible. If you have a chance, read the children’s book “The Three Questions” by Jon J. Muth. It help remind us that NOW is the time to be our best selves.
